Telford and East Shropshire Branch of CAMRA
(including our sub-branches for Bridgnorth and Market Drayton)
Welcome to TES CAMRA
Telford & East Shropshire CAMRA is a Branch Of CAMRA that covers Much Wenlock in the west to Albrighton in the east, and from Market Drayton and Woore in the north to Burford near Tenbury Wells in the south.
Shropshire is a beautiful part of England with a thriving heritage of agriculture and industry both past and present. The industrial revolution started here. Our history and amazing countryside is a big part of why so many people visit Shropshire and is something Salopians are very proud of. This pride in traditional crafts means it also a great place to taste locally made ales and ciders.
What is CAMRA ?
CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale is an independent, voluntary organisation campaigning for real ale, community pubs and consumer rights.
CAMRA supports well-run pubs as the centres of community life – whether in rural or urban areas – and believe their continued existence play a critical social role in UK culture.
CAMRA also supports the pub as the one place in which to consume real ale (also known as cask-conditioned beer, or cask ale) and to try one of over 5,500 different styles now produced across the UK.
Too many pubs are closing every week but together we are doing something about it. Make sure scenes like this do not become history.
Join the campaign for Real Ale today, memberships has loads of great benefits (beer vouchers, discounted entry to fests and much more, much more) and can cost less than a pint a month. Your local pub needs you !
