4th Shifnal Beer Festival

Telford and East Shropshire CAMRA  recently held the 4th Shifnal Beer Festival, once again sponsored by Joules Brewery. Held at the War Memorial Club, Innage Road, Shifnal (see map below) from October 18th-20th 2018, we were open 5-11 Thursday and 12-11 Friday and Saturday, with live music from early on Saturday evening. Oakham (Peterborough, Cambridgeshire) Scarlet Macaw 4.8% Amber American Pale Ale. Exciting, fruity hop flavours and an intensely refreshing bitterness

William Worthington Brewing Co. (Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire) White Shield 5.6% IPA originally brewed in 1829. A traditional IPA, not the same as modern golden versions

Hobsons (Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire) Mosaic and Citra (V) 4.2% Unfined to maximise the hop flavour with aromas of tropical fruit; mango, pine, citrus and herbs. Vegan friendly

Salopian (Hadnall, Shropshire) Hop Twister 4.5% A strong focus of lemony grapefruit on the finish which is balanced by a dry bitterness

Gwynt Y Ddraig (Llantwit Fardre, Pontypridd) Black Dragon (cider) 7.2% Medium-dry cider. Rich in colour, body and flavour with a fresh, fruity aroma
